Opal is a gentle, sweet shorty, small pup! She is mixed with Jack Russell Terrier, English Bulldog and American Pit Bull Terrier. She is currently in a foster home with other big dogs and enjoys their company.

Opal can appear reserved and uncertain around new people (but loves to be outdoors and to go for walks and hikes). She is learning to trust and do normal puppy things a little more each day. Her ideal home would be one with a social, confident dog that she can learn and grow from. Opal will need humans that are patient with her (but not pushovers) and willing to practice confidence building exercises. Her adoption includes free lessons from the dog trainer that was involved in the rescue of her and her siblings.

Opal is potty trained, crated trained, rides well in the car and walks nicely on leash.
