Meet Nola! She is a 3 year old active gal. Nola loves going on hikes to the mountains and to the beach. She is an amazing car dog, no car sickness and always excited to accompany you on a quick trip to the store or a longer road trip to anywhere (as long as her window is down and the air can hit her face). She is incredibly smart and knows all basic commands (Speak, sit, shake (both sides), lay down, leave it, take it, come, stay, touch) and she also knows hand commands for Sit, lay down, and stay.

 

Nola is incredibly food motivated and some of her favorite things are String cheese and Pupachinos. She is trained on walks while wearing a sprenger collar. Nola does live with two cats and she lived with another cat while being fostered prior. While Nola is great with her fur siblings, she is not always a fan of new and unfamiliar dogs. She does have one best dog friend next door who’s owners have stating are willing to continue play dates.

 

Nola has done great with the transition to having a new human baby in the home, however she does not do well with lots of children visiting and their high energy and screaming. While this might be normal behavior for a pup when in their homes, her current owners have realized it’s unfair to have Nola in an environment that causes her stress. Nola has been incredibly loved and they have started the search to find a new home for her.  Nola would thrive with an owner/owners with no plans to have small children around and can take her on adventures as she loves to be outdoors (or just wherever you are).
