My name is Wilbur and I am a happy, healthy pint-sized fella. I am a very funny and silly boy and enjoy the company of others. I am also good with dogs, I actually really enjoy being around other dogs and am currently fostered with a male and a female pit bull. I would prefer to go to a home with another dog, as I am quite timid around people and really take cues from my doggie friends. I am very food driven and response to verbal and physical praise during training. I haven’t been tested officially with cats yet but I don't react to cats or critters on our walks. I have the perfect amount of energy because I love my walks and could definitely join for a hike, and I’m equally happy being lazy and snoozing. I am crate-trained and good with my place command (on tie-down). I can be mouthy when playing and still timid of new people, so not appropriate for a home with young children.
I walk nicely on leash with some consistency working on my “heal.” I am up-to-date on all my shots, neutered and micro-chipped. The doctor says I may have early stages of kidney disease, so my foster parents are feeding me kidney diet food and I'm responding really well to it!
