Sol ("sun” in Spanish) is an affectionate, playful, intelligent, 39 lbs., 7-month-old, male mixed breed from Mexico. Sol’s mother was pregnant when her owners moved away and abandoned her. Fortunately, a neighbor took Sol’s mother in. However, due to the lack of resources, Sol is now in the Bay Area, healthy and ready for a permanent home. Sol is neutered and all his vaccines are current. He is currently working on his crate training and house training skills in his foster home. Sol is very playful and loves playing with other dogs. He is food motivated; although he does not exhibit resource guarding with humans, he barks at other dogs who go near his crate when he is chewing on his bone. He is good with dogs, cats, and children, and does not show any signs of aggression. He will likely do well in a home with another dog (or other dogs) or with an experienced owner who has time for him as he is still a young pup.
